Tom Sheppard was born in a maple syrup mine in northern Alberta while his mother vacationed in Saskatchewan. He bought his first original Macintosh and ImageWriter printer on March 1, 1984 for the whopping sum of $2,650 ($5,024 in 2009 dollars). Tom has owned, or purchased for companies, hundreds of Macs. A former Mac bigot, for the last 10 years he now believes Macs just suck less. While using Macs almost exclusively at home, he uses Windows for contract work, for small business accounting, and to plot maps for his GPS. That makes him ambidextrOS.
